Women for Women 2024

Every December the NCA gives back in a BIG way during the NCA Care Week. And we love your help in making it a smashing success!

As part of the Care Week we’re organising the yearly Women for Women Event.

📅 Date: Wednesday, December 11th, 2024 🕖 Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM 📍 Location: 160 Mount Pleasant Road  🎟️ Tickets: $30 (or donate more if you'd like!) One of our board members Barbara has opened up her beautiful Black & White home to host our yearly Women for Women Event. If you’ve been to the Women for Women Event last year, you know what we’re talking about: Good conversations, inspiring talks, a feelgood atmosphere, seeing your friends (and meeting new ones), a bite and a glass of wine.  Together we’ll also pack gift bags for the helpers who end up in the shelter HOME during Christmas.

Can you imagine?

Being at a shelter during Christmas? Without your family, without work or a home to stay at. Not knowing what the future will bring….

We know that this year there will be 50+ helpers stranded at the shelter and with your efforts we want to bring some light in their time of darkness and uncertainty.

Last year the helpers were absolutely delighted to receive the gifts and it brought a big smile to their face. And we cannot wait to surprise them again.

So without further ado we would love to invite you for the NCA Women for Women Event.

Join us on December 11th, 2024, for a night dedicated to empowerment, connection, and meaningful change. 🌟

📣 Our special guest speaker, Stephanie Chok, Executive Director of HOME (Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics), will share her powerful journey of challenging systemic injustices and advocating for Domestic Workers rights in Singapore. Her vision of a fairer future will inspire and ignite action, an evening not to miss!

All proceeds from the evening will go directly to HOME to buy Christmas Presents for the women at the Shelter.
