Care Week Coordinator
Care Week is one of the most special moments in the NCA year. Every December, our community comes together through a series of festive events to raise as much money as possible for the charities we support. It’s a real team effort, with months of planning and many dedicated volunteers helping bring it all to life.
For Care Week 2026, we’re looking for someone enthusiastic and organised to take the lead. You won’t be doing it alone – you’ll be surrounded by a supportive team of volunteers who are keen to help and contribute.
If you enjoy bringing people together, keeping things moving, and creating something meaningful for a good cause, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a time-intensive volunteer role that builds over the year. From around September onwards, things start to pick up with a few hours a week for planning and coordination. In November, it becomes more active and hands-on, and during Care Week in December it is very full-on and all-consuming for a short, exciting period.
HOME Charity Lead
HOME does incredible work supporting migrant workers in Singapore, many of whom have experienced extremely difficult circumstances, abuse, or exploitation. Alongside financial support, NCA works closely with HOME to organise activities and events for women staying in their shelter. These moments range from simple, joyful social activities to workshops that support learning and personal growth.
We’re looking for a warm and committed volunteer to be the main link between NCA and HOME. If you enjoy building relationships, organising meaningful experiences, and making a positive difference in people’s lives, this could be a really rewarding role for you.
This is a flexible volunteer role, usually taking a couple of hours per week on average. There may be slightly busier moments around planning or when activities take place, but overall the role is designed to fit around your availability and can be scaled up or down as needed.
German European School Singapore (GESS) Charity Lead
We’re excited that the German European School Singapore (GESS) has chosen to support NCA and the charities we work with. To help this partnership grow, we’re looking for someone to act as the main point of contact between GESS and NCA.
If you already have a connection to the school through your children or community, that’s wonderful – but it’s not a requirement. We’ll introduce you to the right people and support you every step of the way.
This is a flexible coordination role, typically involving a few hours a week. Most of the time it’s about keeping communication flowing and helping things run smoothly, with a bit more involvement around key school events or joint initiatives.
Creative Marketing Specialist
Everything NCA does is powered by volunteers and made possible through the generosity and energy of our supporters. Sharing our story and keeping our community connected is a big part of that.
We’re looking for a creative and organised person to join our Marketing & Communications team. You’ll help bring our work to life by sharing updates about events, showcasing impact, and keeping our supporters engaged and inspired. This might include social media content, communications planning, simple design work, website updates, and working closely with event teams to tell the story of what we do.
Experience in marketing, communications, or social media is a bonus, as well as tools like Wix, Canva, or Mailchimp – but it’s not essential. What matters most is creativity, initiative, and a genuine interest in contributing to a meaningful cause.
This is a flexible, volunteer-based role, typically around a few hours per week, shaped by ongoing projects and campaigns. It can naturally become busier during larger events or campaigns, but always remains adaptable to your availability.
