What's happening in May

We did it! We finished April on a very positive note. We’re thrilled to welcome 70 incredible supporters -some long-time champions, some brand new (hi, welcome!👋)- and thanks to your ROYAL support, together we reached our $5,000 goal for the Enabling Leadership Program! 🎉🎉🎉

This gives us the opportunity to now support 60(!) children in the NCA Orange League in 2025 🎉🧡

Together with our corporate sponsor Vopak we'll be supporting - in total - 160 Singaporean children with a social/economic disadvantage. The Enabling Leadership charity program gives the kids the opportunity to be active in sports and develop their leadership skills (collaboration, communication, solution-oriented thinking, learning to win/lose etc.). Essential skills they need in the future to be able to score better jobs and build a successful career.

WHAT'S ON THE CALENDAR FOR MAY?

💙 A unique Fashion Pop-Up Market for the helpers who reside at the HOME shelter

The H.O.M.E shelter is a safe place to stay for domestic workers on the East Coast. Helpers come here when they are treated unfairly, are unsafe or in trouble in any way. Some ladies are here for days, weeks and sometimes months on end and it's often a very stressful, overwhelming and scary time for them. To brighten their days and bring some much needed joy, empowerment and entertainment to break up their long days at the shelter, our volunteers are hosting a Fashion Pop-up Market at the shelter. 

How can you support this event?

Preparations are in full swing and you can still donate your best (second-hand) clothes, jewellery, bags, belts, sunglasses and make-up at the Holland International School and Hollandse Club until May 10th. 💙 Kids Swim Challenge for the NCA Swim for Charity Event on Friday 23 May from 3-6pm.

This one is especially for the kids, so they can support charity in a fun and accessible way and do a good deed for others.

Every year thousands of Singaporean children have to miss their parents in prison. The Charity New Life Stories is dedicated to help these children and their families out by offering social, psychological and educational support with their Family Strengthening programs.

Their Big Mission: breaking the cycle of intergenerational incarceration. (Many children of parents in prison eventually end up in prison themselves). Will you help us raise funds and give the next generation a fairer start in life? How can your kid(s) support this event?
