Description
Good Shepherd Centre is a crisis shelter for young women, mothers and their children who experience abuse and violence. A peaceful home is offered where they can heal and recover from their trauma. The location of the shelter is top secret and no photography is allowed.
The programs at Good Shepherd Centre aim to empower the women living there, take responsibility for their own lives and develop resilience. Good Shepherd Centre also teaches the women various skills to help grow their self-confidence, to take charge of their families and to reintegrate into the wider community. They also organize children’s counseling and recreational activities – every child should have the right to be happy!
