Description
Torture of foreign workers is not imaginary; unfortunately there are many cases where they are abused, wrongly accused of a crime or not being paid. Apart from that, there are still serious human and labor rights violations in Singapore.
HOME (Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics) helps these foreign workers and responds to the special needs of migrant communities. They offer shelter and provide legal and psychological assistance when necessary. Furthermore they help the foreign worker to survive the abuse by teaching them a new skill and/or repatriating them.
The men and women that find shelter at HOME, are given the option to learn another trade. Although these courses are usually given by volunteers, the materials and items they need to study from and practice with are not for free.
Help change the lives of several men and women by donating the money to buy the materials for a course.
