NCA Guest at Project Heart 2017
On 4 November the Singapore Heart Foundation organised Project Heart 2017 at the Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Centre.
CPR and defibrillation, provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest, can significantly increase a victim’s chance of survival. The Singapore Heart Foundation has certified more than 13,000 people since its courses started in 2009.
NCA was invited to attend the CPR and AED course by the Singapore Heart Foundation. Some of our NCA volunteers were among 1,000 other people who signed up for this mass training event at the Singapore Expo, where we were immediately welcomed by our two instructors. During a 3 hours session we learned how to conduct CPR and also how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). After having taken the test, we can now proudly say that we are certified CPR + AED providers! Thanks again Singapore Heart Foundation for giving us the opportunity to be part of this inspiring training.
