Medicine (S$ 30,-)

Not the first present that comes to mind. But paying for medical expenses can be a big gift to somebody with no income who suffered from leprosy. When discovered in the early stages, there is a treatment with very good results. But if you are not one of the lucky ones you might become physically disabled and have to be taken into a special cares facility.
In what way does your present make a difference?
Singapore Leprosy Relief Association (SILRA) is a partner of the NCA. They take care of ex-sufferers of leprosy. Although these people are cured of the Leprosy itself, they may be physically disabled, do not have a home to go to or can not be treated at home anymore. SILRA gives these ex-patients the best possible life by offering a social environment with the primary needs provided.
With the purchase of this gift you contribute to the work of Society for the Singapore Leprosy Relief Association. If circumstances so dictate the contribution can also be utilised to support other needs of this organisation
